My husband and I are exploring the concept of swinging (36F/35M). I have to admit I'm more on board and excited about it than he is, but he is willing to consider the idea.

We'd like to visit an event or a club in order to meet some like minded people and just sort of feel out the vibe. Our intention wouldn't be to play necessarily on day 1, but we will discuss boundaries and guidelines before we go.

A quick google search comes up with a lifestyle club in Hartford "Leisure Time", but a membership fee is required in addition to the nightly fee. My husband doesn't want to pay a membership fee as he feels that somehow solidifies a commitment.

Does anyone here have any experience with Leisure Time and can provide any information on the vibe (though I'm sure it changes depending on the theme/crowd/night), and whether or not we would be accepted given where we are in the lifestyle?

Are there any other recommendations for clubs or events that might be better suited for us? We are about 40 min Northwest of Hartford and willing to travel up to 2 hours.
