Post Body

Our local club got hacked. It was actually a service provider that they used who got hacked and word I got is that many clubs used the same service so wasn’t just us.

Many of these clubs require that IDs be stored and that’s how they verify when you check in. Our club also had a social network that many members used. The IDs and photos are now compromised. They aren’t releasing much info and are trying to pass it off as just a couple IDs having been downloaded but I’m not buying it.

Always safe to assume anything you put out there has been or will be compromised. We are perhaps too trusting with others in the LS figuring that most of us respect each other’s discretion. The data leaks are more concerning though.
