So glad you did this! My husband was too nervous to say anything with one girl he was playing with solo…. He pushed through the smell. Staying hard was such a struggle.

Turns out she had BV, how did we find out? Because she passed it onto me. I ended up battling BV for MONTHS. It was awful, I was on antibiotics forever trying to treat it. Sex was painful and I was so self conscious. Now I’m on special probiotics to try and prevent it from happening again.

Now when a smell is present we say something. I don’t want to put my body through something like that again.

It’s not! And it’s so horrible to go through. So for prophylactic care I’m on a special probiotic called clairvee. It helps prevent BV if you’re prone to it. I have caught BV once more since the 6 month ordeal and that round of BV was cleared very quickly thankfully. So I do think the probiotics are helping prevent but it’s not a cure all.

We use condoms and still got BV. Fingering and cross contamination can still spread it. With new couples I ask the other wife if she’s been tested for BV with her STI panel. If not I inform her that she probably should and disclose my horror story lol.

Agreed. I’m extremely sensitive to smell myself. Fishy smells are usually not normal. My husband said the smell filled the entire room when she opened her legs.

A slight smell could be fine but not like a rotting fish factory. Yes it’s super embarrassing to point out but it saves people from getting sick and passing things around. My husband definitely learned his lesson after that, he saw how much suffering I went through. We had to take a 6 month break from swinging.
