Pet names

Iā€™ve never liked being called ā€œsweetie, sexy, good girl, honey, babe/baby, etcā€ by anyone other than my romantic partner, and then getting in the LS we had an experience that made me realize I also donā€™t like when my partner calls our playmates by pet names either. So we made a ā€œruleā€ where we just laid a blanket ā€œno pet namesā€. I think Iā€™ve realized why but I donā€™t think I care to ā€œfix itā€ in my head. I know itā€™s a weird rule but itā€™s minuscule and there arenā€™t really any ā€œrepercussionsā€ if it slips from a play partner. With all of thatā€¦ I feel like people forget all the time. Itā€™s not so important that Iā€™m going to squash a good connection but Iā€™d also definitely like for it to stop. What is a good way to explain how badly this small action gives me the ick so that people donā€™t ā€œforgetā€ but also let them know Iā€™m not a psycho whoā€™s gonna storm out if you accidentally call one of us a name? I feel like it should be easier but I feel like I either sound like a stuck up bitch or Iā€™m not honoring my own preferences.

I identify as "Gladiator love stud" and expect to be addressed as such!

Honestly pet names haven't really been a thing we've encountered much in the LS.
