We're still relatively new, having gone to the club in our city a number of times but not really messaging and meeting with couples "in the wild"/outside the club until now. We finally started using our SLS account more seriously and connected with a couple that seems like they could be legit. Similar age, similar look, not too far away.

They pretty quickly wanted to move the conversation to Kik or Snap to see if we could all get messaging and see if there's a good 4 way connection.

I guess as a late 30s guy coming up as an internet user in the era of Craigslist scams and chat rooms, I'm curious to hear how legit this is and if it's a red flag for a pic collector or totally normal. Moving to another platform seems like one of the hallmarks of certain scams, but maybe there's a good reason to use Snap instead of the in-website messaging app? I have Snap, but I've literally never met someone who told me they use Kik, although I'm aware it exists. What's normal for meeting someone on a website and then trying to move it IRL encounters?
