Saying “no” politely.

Post Body

Obviously, I know we always have the ability to choose what we do and with whom. But….. how do you nicely decline an offer from a specific couple? Or at an event? I don’t want to force anything with anyone, and I don’t find a lot of people attractive that others do. I’m a bit worried how to go about it when the answer to why is basically “I’m not attracted to you.”

Now, obviously be polite overall but is there any “swinging code” for lack of a better phrase that you can use here? Or what do people generally say?

“Sorry, you’re not my type”? Cause you can’t say you don’t want to play if you then go and play with someone else. I mean you COULD but our community here is small and yeah, I don’t want to come across as flakey, but I also don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.

Thanks!

We've used, "sorry, we just didn't feel the sexual chemistry" with people we've been on first dates with but didn't want to continue seeing. People who have approached us in a club have gotten a "well it was nice meeting you. Have fun tonight!" if they haven't explicitly asked for anything.
