So...we are both close to 50, and our LS shenanigans have us both working hard to get back into somewhat better shape. For my part it is not a huge leap, just getting back into road cycling and a little weight training and I am only a month or two out from being where I want to be. Wife on the other hand has a little more of a journey ahead of her. Unfortunately she had to have knee surgery a few years ago that really hurt her ability to be mobile for a while, and a cpl other health issues that have since been resolved. Now....to be very very clear....I do not care at all that she has gained weight...I still love her and find her sexy, but I know why she is self conscious about it, I am someone that once had to lose about 100 pounds cause I was downright tubby and I never want to be that again. So for any 45-55 year old women out there in the LS, any diet exercise advice that makes you feel good about yourself, feel free to send it our way:)
