Ever surprised by the LS in vanilla contexts?

Concerns about running into vanilla peeps during LS activities are well known
But has anyone ever bumped into someone they know from the LS while engaged in vanilla activities? If so, how'd you handle it and how did it go?
This isn't something we've ever really worried about, but today I was thinking the odds of this are increasing (but still super low) as we get more social in the LS.

We were helping a single female friend of ours move and her mom dropped by. She asked us how we knew each other and hubby gave the vanilla version of the story without thinking and luckily it’s the almost exact same story our friend gave her mom on the phone earlier that day. The truth, even omitting things is always the best way.
