One of our first times at a club in RI turned out to be a trans night (we didn’t really look into the theme beforehand). That’s not our thing, but we’re early on in our lifestyle journey and got to talk to quite a few fun people. We later found out they host trans nights from time to time.

My advice would be to check out any clubs near you to see if they have trans nights. This club partners with a trans lifestyle group for these events, so that could be something that happens in your area.

straight husband bi wife seems like the most common demographic here

Yeah, with the caveat that many of the "bi" wives are not what some (including my partner) would call "fully" bi, many are at most bi-curious or situationally bi. Often it's performatively bi, but more straight.

My partner and I do fit this stereotype though. (I'm the straight M, she's very bi)

is trans acceptance mostly common or are trans people so rare in your experience that you dont know?

I have never seen any trans person in a lifestyle space and I have to be honest, I suspect that you'll find a lack of a warm welcome.

Bi men seem to be somewhat unwelcome already and I just have a suspicion that except for clubs that cater to LGBTQ, it'll be generally not understood or welcomed.

straight guys: how likely are you to sleep with a butch trans woman?

To be totally honest, it's unlikely, but it's not the trans part, it's just the butch part. For me, I'm attracted to feminine attributes...so a feminine trans woman would be a yes for me, but a butch trans woman would be a no.
