Ok I need some perspective and help. I recently came across sdc website for swingers. The first thing that came to my mind was what if there was a better website to find lifestyle people. Is there a better website than sdc to find people in this lifestyle of which I am not aware of? Basically my idea is to create one if there isn't one but it depends on the community response.
Here are some questions in mind.
Does people prefer finding people through website like these or still traditional approach is being used eg meeting in clubs/events etc
If there is community need for such thing?
If I get positive response for community I will create the website which does NOT shove credit deatils form your in face after sign up.
Will have strict onboarding process so that there are less bot or fake profiles.
If I make one I will keep it free initially and at later point might add donation/subscription modal.
What possible features you want the website to have in the mvp?
What better place to ask then reddit.
There are tons of sites already. Adding another one, even if it’s the greatest web site have ever been made, is ill-advised. People have already gone through the process of joining sites, getting vetted, setting up profiles, etc etc etc. Many have paid for memberships. You’d be better off offering your services to an existing site to improve them, like SLS.
