Wife and I are late 30s and making our first trip to a resort later this summer, and we're like 90% sure we'll do Desire RM. It looks like the dates we want are showing availability for lots of different room types. Would anyone have any advice about which rooms are best? Obviously I can just choose a bigger room or a room with a better view if that's what I want, but I'm wondering if certain room types have any non-obvious advantages like being closer to the pool, good access to the beach or other amenities, quieter when you actually do want sleep, etc.
Any advice on selecting rooms at Desire RM? Are there considerations that you might not know as a first-timer?

We hardly spent any time in our room and got the basic one and thought it was really nice! It’s a pretty small area and all of it totally enclosed and private.
