Hello. We’re a couple who have been trying to find others in the lifestyle to get to know and potentially play with. Male half is HSV1 & HSV2 positive. Female (39) continues to be negative and we have never used protection in the nearly 3 years we have been together. Husband has been HSV1 since 2019 and learned in 2020 that he contracted HSV2. He has been on antivirals ever since and has only experienced 3 outbreaks over the course of 4 years and hasn’t had one since early 2022. Estimates are 75% of the population being HSV1 and as much as 20% being HSV2 in the U.S. alone. Most do not even know they are carriers. We have tried to find couples to play with but they seem to only be interested in the female half or we get ghosted once actually reading our profile. It’s not a life ending disease. The virus is in most of us. How do we go about finding others in our predicament that are lifestyle friendly?
