Summary: A guy who has been with his partner for 26 years now has an open marriage and is very curious about radically different orgasms than what he's used to seeing.

I'm a 45 year old male and my partner is a 46 year old female. We've been together since college and opened our relationship a couple of years ago. In that time, we've had great experiences with a dozen or so solos/couples.

Recently, we've met two MF couples where the female halves are extremely multi-orgasmic . . . and we have questions!

The vast majority of my experience is with my partner. She has regular orgasms, usually from oral or from toys, and there's a clear physical build up - in the 60 seconds before she climaxes, I can feel her body getting tenser, her clitoris and vulva swell and flush red, her vagina tightens. When she climaxes, her stomach ripples with contractions, her vagina and anus contract dramatically, and her entire body stiffens. Immediately afterwards, her clitoris is extremely sensitive and retracts slightly under its hood, she often has small tremors in her abs or legs, and she is physically spent for a few minutes.

Because of our long history together, I know her and her orgasms intimately and deeply.

Most of the other women I've played with have had orgasms with similar phases and characteristics. Some have been multi-orgasmic, but it's been two or three in a long session and they've all been similar to the orgasm I described for my partner above.

In the past month, we've met two couples where the woman is multi-orgasmic on the order of a few dozen in a 90 minute or 2 hour play session. Both will announce that they're cumming, but I don't see any of the physical changes or signs that I'm used to seeing. There's no refractory/highly sensitive phase afterwards and they'll often have another one just minutes later.

With me/us, they have had orgasms through intercourse, hands/fingers, and oral, but both of their partners report that they can also have orgasms through nipple stimulation, full body touch, and, for one of them, being spoken to without any touch, at all (they call it a "voice orgasm").

One of the women is 54, one is 38.

My questions are these: Are there women in this sub who have similar orgasms as these two women we've met? Are there women here who have orgasms that fit both of the descriptions? If so, please share your experiences and tell us more.

We would love to learn more about the "fast and light" orgasms that these women seem to have, how they're different from the more typical orgasms that my partner and our other play partners have, and if anyone has experience with having both "types".

In a perfect world, we'll read your replies and learn how my partner can broaden her horizons and have entirely different orgasm experiences than she's used to.

We have great communication with both of these couples, yet don't want to directly ask them about their experiences because, if they are faking it or aren't having "real" orgasms, we (1) don't want them to feel any shame or judgement; (2) celebrate the fact that everyone is having fun, leaving fulfilled, and coming back for more; and (3) think they're awesome humans who are great just as they are - we'd be crushed if we asked them questions that created any self-doubt, made them think that we're questioning the way their bodies work, or made them feel like we doubt their honesty.
