Couple of weekends ago we met this couple out for drinks. Guess you could say it went alright but not spectacular. (They had provided a pic about 5 yrs and 10 lbs ago) Afterwards we thanked them for their time and said we thought we should go out again. Then we give them their space. About a week later they again reach out to us about meeting them again. They say they have to go out of town on Friday and Saturday a little but could meet us either Friday night or Saturday night. We agree and welcome the idea. They say they will be in touch, so we wait. Both Friday and Saturday came and went without a word from them, either way. We stayed in waiting to hear from them and not reaching out to appear desperate (fact is we aren’t). The wife is pissed now. She thinks they could have at the very least said something. Canceled or rescheduled instead of saying nothing. Should we assume they have ghosted us? Take their behaviour as a red flag and move on? Wait to see what happens? We aren’t the type to chase ppl. Thoughts?
