Swinging single?

This feels like a dumb question, but I genuinely don’t know the answer. I come from a BDSM background but my primary partner at the moment is a swinger, so I’m branching out. “Swinger” typically implies couples, right? But couples split up. So if you identify as a swinger but don’t have your other half, do you still hookup with your other couples? Do you look for other single swingers at clubs? How’s the whole temporarily single thing work in the community?
