I’m going to be attending a play party hosted at a house. From what I understand of the social group that is hosting it they are laid-back, friendly, and consent-focused.

Even so, I’m pretty nervous! It’s not described as a swingers party, but it seems like most of the folks are partnered, so I googled swingers parties and one thing that was mentioned was that single men are discouraged but solo females are usually encouraged because they are “unicorns.”

Here’s the thing, though, if I end up doing anything sexual I really only want to play with other women. Is it weird to show up at a play party and not interact (other than polite conversation) with the men? Are solo females only encouraged with the expectation that they will do threesomes with straight couples?
