I'm going to my first play party as a unicorn tonight. There are 2 hours of mingling time before the official rules/consent talk and the playing begins. I'm a pretty attractive female and often in social settings, bars, etc, I am approached by men trying to chat me up. I have no interest in sleeping with them, but I have a conversation because I'm a nice person, but often I find this niceness is seen by them as "I'm interested in you", when really it's not, it's just us having a conversation.

But in a play party setting, how can I end "small talk conversations" with people I'm uninterested in playing with, so I can make room for conversations with people I am interested in?

I have no issues saying no to specific play situations I don't want to participate in. But before all that, if someone approaches me and begins asking questions about me, my life, etc. and I'd rather be getting to know other people there, I find it difficult to exit the conversation in a non rude way. I wont know anyone else there so it's not like I can be like "O I'm gonna go check on my friend/partner now". Hopefully this makes sense what I'm trying to say. Any ideas?
