Traveling to Amsterdam in April, question about Sameplace

Those who have been to the LS bar in Amsterdam, Sameplace, how strict are they on the dress code? Website states men should be in black shoes, black pants and a black shirt. Is this strictly enforced? I’d prefer not to have to pack a specific outfit just for this club on our trip.
Also, is there a preferred night of the week for this club? We’ll be in town Thursday through Sunday.
