Inoffensive ways to ask a couple if they're in the lifestyle?

Having been a swinging couple, we've never been approached by a single guy, but when I've been by myself, I've sometimes talked to other couples who gave off slightly swinger vibes. I wanted to ask but didn't want to offend them in case I misread the situation. What are unobtrusive and inoffensive ways to ask if a couple is open or in the lifestyle?

I didn't know that was a thing until I was in the LS. Without questioning it, you may have given another clue that you are in the LS (if they're wondering)
