Wonderful day to you all.
So here is something me and my partner have noticed and discussed recently: We have seen more and more parties being organized, even from some 'organizer couples' we personally know, with such flavours as: 'active swingers only', 'no beginners' or 'for people who do not need to chat for an hour'. I hope you get the Idea.
So first off: is this something you have noticed as well? We have never Seen such specific Parties before. But then again we are only doing this for about 3 years now.
Here are our thoughts about this: We have been to such parties (even before this has become a flavour). It can be nice but it isn't exactly our style. There is usually at least one 'golfer guy' (get the most amount of holes with the least amount of strokes) and the conversation that does happen pretty much reminds me of our coffee break office banter. Not that we hate it, we sometimes go to this things, but we like a more relaxed approach most of the time.
Also, has this been really a 'problem' that there are many people at the parties who don't play? Are you going to parties If you don't intend on playing? If so why? We have never really seen that but then again we did not really took notice of what others did or did not do at parties.
All in all not a bad development I would say. It's a good Idea to spezialize your parties to your preferred playstyle. Then everyone knows what and who to expect and then choose accordingly. Still a bit weird. Almost as If there is a Swinger Tier list now.
