so we have met a couple about year and a half now. Met through SLS. We chatted there for a few months and then exchanged numbers and started a group chat. it seemed like we were all on the same page and had the same interests.

they invited us to a swinger bar party and then completely ignored us. It was a very weird moment but we kinda moved on and mingled with others there and made a few good healthy connections. that's where things kinda stopped with that couple. We don't force it if there's no mutual connection. Fast forward the same group is having another party and we got invited by the new friends we met at the last party which we attended. The old couple texted us the day of the party because they noticed we would be attending. We were polite and responded and confirmed that we will be there. Well, same thing they completely ignore us again. I the male half walked up to them to say hello and they pretended to not notice me. So we fall back because you never know what type of situation people are going through. The next day we got a nasty message from them that completely took us off guard. we were described as stock up good-for-nothing couples.

It's about a month ago now and we have no idea what we did wrong. We are very respectful to others and love for all to have fun. I personally wish they would have text me these words and excluded my wife. She's one of those people who hate confrontation, and has no idea how to express herself when confronted, and gets very anxious, I feel like situations like this could easily ruin the lifestyle for us. We still have not responded to the text. Should we leave it alone or say something? we decided to not attend that specific party anymore. But Do we say something?
