How many profiles out there say stuff like ādonāt match if you arenāt going to message usā yet they donāt extend the same courtesy. Another favorite ādonāt match and leave us on seen/readā¦we have busy lives so if we donāt respond for a while donāt take it personal.ā As if we arenāt all busy lol.
Usually these profiles come with a statement about not wasting their time. No oneās time is wasted by matching and not responding right away or by not responding to a message promptly.
For us that attitude is a turn off. Tells me they want to be chased and donāt want to do any chasing. More likely weāll spend energy trying to set something up and then theyāll take their best option which may not be us. Feel like most of these profiles are people who think very highly of themselves and canāt be bothered with pursuing anyone.
In my experience, profiles that demand certain things I'm a very forward way are created by people who lack (or don't lack) that very thing.
"NO TIME FOR DRAMA" - Dramatic person, probably
"Must have excellent conversational skills" - Person who gives one-word replies, probably
...etc
