The way we have been successful is online first, then vibe check in person. If we make it past those two steps, a lot of fun has ensued 😈 I would say any of the apps work, we have basically only used Reddit and 3fun, but to be successful right from the beginning you have to be extremely clear in your post/message/bio about 1. What you’re looking for 2. That you will not engage in conversation unless they are willing to verify how you want them too at the beginning. It’s so crazy the amount of fakes or single guys on these apps just looking for free pics. When we started not engaging with anyone at all unless they were willing to verify for us, we went from hundreds of daily, to literally like none lol. Maybe once a month we will get a legit person. So what we have done is said, “don’t message us without verification pictures in your first message.” We usually ask that they send a picture of themselves doing something specific like giving a thumbs up or down. That way we know if would be really hard for someone to fake, and they are most likely real. Also so you know if you are basically physically attracted to them. Then we set up a meet for dinner or something without the pressure of anything else happening, just dinner. Then after dinner, we evaluate. Was their vibe cool? Will we be friends? Yes? Awesome. Definitely! We’ve met some great people from Reddit. Just be ready to wade through all the messages and stick to whatever your verification method is. You’ll get a lot of flakes, pic hunters, etc but as long as you just use this for verifying and scheduling a meetup you should have no issues. Definitely recommend checking out SLS or one of the swinger apps as well. Most have certifications from other people which helps weed out the fakes.
