So not too long ago, a couple went to their first club party. Soft swapped with another couple and had a pleasant MFM involving two guys’ fingers at the same time. No penetration, no oral. Both partners really enjoyed the event and look forward to next time. A week or so later, F notices itching and fishy smell. Medical professional calls it “bacterial vaginosis” and prescribes oral antibiotics and yogurt of all things. Clears up right away, and couple’s sex life is back to normal. How common is this? BV seems really minor, but any infection at all is still a major negative, especially for newbies. Part of the point of soft swap was to avoid infections. Any advice from you experienced folks?
PH strips and boric acid inserts.
Strange people change the PH in females. BV is part of the LS no one talks about. Vaginal health is important
Good hygiene in the lifestyle is an assumption and you shouldn't need to tell people. If hygiene issues are detected then it should be a warning sign for you and a deal breaker before you get started. That said, aftercare hygiene is also very important. Fingernails are dirty, regardless of how much you scrub. Your mouth is a virtual petri dish of bacteria. Not to mention genital cleanliness. When you increase the number of partners in your sex life you need to take extra steps in aftercare to remain healthy. Something as simple as urinating after sex is simple and super important, plus it offers a great opportunity to cleanup. The vagina specifically may require additional attention, each is different, some are more sensitive to pH imbalance, boric acid suppositories help immensely with maintaining good ph balance in the vagina. In general I find swingers are far more hygienic than your average vanilla person. All this extra swinging fun comes with extra hygiene requirements, have fun & stay safe😁
