We were at Colette in Dallas two Saturdays ago (11/11/23) and had a great time.
Rehashing our experience, my wife mentioned a guy walked by the theater room where we happened to be alone and I was eating out my wife. She said the guy raised his phone and appeared to take a picture of us. My wife was able to raise her hand/arm in front of her face before (she thinks) he was able to get the snap off.
Have any of you known cameras to be a problem in clubs? I wish she had told me so I could have reported him, but she didnât want me to stop and then had forgotten about it until our recap of the evening. More annoying is that on Saturdays thereâs no single guys allowedâ so this was someone who should have had an SO somewhere. I guess I would expect this to possibly be more of a problem on single guys night, but being there with other couples it never even occurred to us that it could happen.
I assumed there was a no cameras policy in clubs like thisâ have others had this issue?
EDITâ I wish I had thought more about the title of this postâ I wouldâve called it âCamera use at swinger clubs?â to be clearer and give it wider appeal/relevance for those who donât know what Colette is.
Weâve been to Colette plenty and havenât had this issue before. Our first time there my wife, without thinking, pulled out a phone to take an innocent selfie of her and her girlfriend. It was obvious what was happening (and more importantly what wasnât happening) and we immediately got a friendly, but stern (and deserved) reminder that this wasnât acceptable behavior.
But in a play area? Thatâs shitty and needs to be reported and the dude needs to be banned.

It's called a door date. Just for the sake of getting in at a reduced rate. We went there the same weekend but on Friday. Alot of single males that are welcome on Fridays just milling around waiting for people to fuck and constantly looking at there phones. It just gave off a vibe we weren't into that night. Left early.
