When we first got into the LS we quickly realized that it was rare that we met anyone that had been in the LS for a significant period of time, say 4-5 years . Now that we are there, it is easy to see why. With each passing day we find that we have less and less ambition to go on dates with new people, esp folks who are new. The online thing gets cumbersome and kinda feels like groundhog day with each meet-up. We enjoy the sex and the charged atmosphere but it can feel like a chore to get to that point. We have found ourselves migrating to clubs and resorts as it requires less effort to meet people and little to no "chatting" before hand. While we have full intention of staying in the lifestyle, our approach has definitely changed. We have met some really good friends that we meet frequently for some fun weekends. In between, it's parties, resorts and clubs as we feel like it. For those with our experience, is this pretty normal for you?
