I’m not much of a drinker, but at a vanilla party, or bar, drinkers often pressure me to drink with them. They buy me drinks and shots, even after I say no thanks.…I think maybe they feel like I might judge them if I don’t join them. To head this off, I started drinking seltzer water with lime and pose as a drinker. Conversely, I have never, not once, been pressured to drink in the lifestyle. I love the “live and let live” attitude I’m around now. I love the constant consent seeking, the checking in with each other, the friendliness. I enjoy getting to be my unbridled sober self. I know the hubs and I are lucky we have found the right place where everyone feels authentic, and not everyone has the same experience, but for me, it feels like I’ve found me people.
I desperately wish I could be sober and unbridled.
Unfortunately unbridled me requires 1 shot of whiskey, one beer, 2 tokes of sativa, and 30mg of viagra. That cocktail WILL unleash the beast.
