It’s likely my local because we aren’t in a very high population centre and possibly our age (36/35) but my wife and I have been exploring forms of swinging since January. We consider ourselves still fairly inexperienced overall, although we have been going a little bit crazy with it. It’s addicting apparently…

What we have noticed however is that the majority, the vast majority of people we are meeting have a great deal less experience than we do, they comment on how experienced we are, and how comfortable we are with everything and some even asking us for advice. We were outted pretty quickly (mostly by my wife), so we decided to just own it and not really put effort to hide it. We don’t advertise but definitely aren’t hiding it either and that may also play a role in that people think we are more experienced than we feel.

I know it’s a common question, but at what point are you considered experienced? I understand there isn’t some type of achievement or anything. But when did you feel like you were experienced enough to say you were?
