We've been on reddit for a while but mostly as readers. Have written some comments here and other places, but we feel like is time to write a somewhat comprehensive post about the LS clubs and venues in Souther California. I know that we could post on a California sub, but we have gotten so many DM's asking about places to visit here in SoCal, that I feel people can benefit from this post. Hoping to earn some good karma with this post, both on reddit and in real life.

Club Joi (couples and single girls only)

Venue: Is a decent size, think of a nightclub with an adult playground downstairs. There's is plenty of dancing space, live DJ, VIP seating (with privacy curtains ), mini VIP (big sofa next to dance floor), tables around the dance floor, pool table, strip pole, lockers and BYOB bar. Between the dance floor and the smoking room is a section of about 12 booths with lounge beds, it's open, people play in these booths throughout the night, the booths are about 6ft by 7ft just enough space for a session of play and about 5 maybe 6 people depending of size. In the back you have the smoking room which is pretty big, you can smoke weed or tobacco. Downstairs are the playroom, no drinks allowed, they set a table at the door BEFORE you even access the stairs, some people actually leave their drinks there, however, we prefer to finish our drinks before going downstairs. There is about 7 play rooms, about half of them have locking doors, the others are public, there is sofas and cushions on the open play area, there is a restroom and public shower with big viewing window.

Crowd:

The crowd is on the younger side, late 20's to late 40's. Music is usually Billboard top 100's with some retro playing once in awhile. Although the crowd tends to be on the younger side, most of the attendees are super nice and easy to talk and play to. Music a bit loud upstairs, however does stairs it's super mellow.

Pros: Great vibe, good people and great host. Big venue that doesn't feel too crowded even with over 100 people. Strict control of membership and proof of identity upon irrival, that helps weed out any unwanted guests. Valet parking. Clean. Cons: The venue is on a street that might not feel safe, but rest assured that you will be safe, don't pay attention to the homeless that usually hang out on the side of the club, at all times you'll have valet parking workers on that side of the street.

The Love Shack (Single girls and couple only Friday and Saturday) (single guys welcomed first and third Thursday of the month)

Venue

The love shack has been on business for 25 years, is the oldest house party in LA. The house is small, it had one room that locks and 2 open play rooms. Glory hole in the big bedroom along with a king Cal bed, the other two bedrooms have bunk beds. In the back there is a jacuzzi that fits 8 people with a bed set up on top. In the back yard you can smoke weed or tobacco and in a corner he has an infrared sauna.

Crowd

Mostly late 30's to late 60's, Music is low indoors and no music outdoors since the house is on a residential area in the heart of Van Nuys. The vibe is super relaxed, but when the people start playing it gets steaming hot, think of it as an early 2000's swinger house party.

Pros: is one of the cheapest parties you can attend, couples are $40 before 11pm and $50 after that time. Cool slow vibe that gives you achance to actually talk to people. BYOB and access to a fridge to keep your drinks cold. Towels are provided. Close to a major freeway (405).

Cons: it might be too slow for any hard-core swingers. Street parking can be a bit complicated. Walking down a residential street on provocative attire sometimes feels awkward.

Club Vixen (couples and single girls only)

Venue Club Vixen re-open about 2 months ago. It's a good place to go, membership required and similar to Joi but a bit smaller. Even their website is very similar to Joi's. It's in a warehouse on commercial area close to the freeway 405. Once you reserve your spot for the party, they will sent the address.

Crowd

Similar to Joi, is usually early 30' to early 50's. It's on the process of getting more people to attend but they have 20 to 30 couples on a busy night. They are trying super hard to bring famous guests (dj's and pornstars) and they are decently priced.

Pros: Good beats, Good vibes and clean. User friendly website. Commercial neighborhood for the venue. Cons: Might be too slow for some folks.

SMI Sea Mountain Inn Desert Hotsprings (Couples and single girls)

Venue

Is not Desire or Hendo, yes the property is small, but if you like a more intimate vibe or is your first time visiting a fully nude resort... this is your place. Staff is all girls (yes, even the janitor), and they welcome you at the door nude. You start feeling at ease the minute you walk in, and after 20 minutes you don't even realize you are completely nude. The place has a decent size pool, the pool has a rather deep end, so only half of it actually functions as a hang out place. They have a large hot tub, who know how many people fit there, but we have been there when it's packed!!. Plenty of lounge chairs and we'll as beds outside, they have a small playroom and during busy weekends they open one of the rooms and set the sex lab, which basically is a larger play room. They also have a sauna and a massage room. Two restrooms and one them has a shower, there is also outdoor showers. They have a grill and outdoor fridge as well as an indoor (office) fridge, we encourage you to bring a small cooler.

Crowd

All shapes, ages, colors and beyond. Everybody is super cool, down to earth and welcoming. We have a funny story about this place but that will be a different post if we don't get bashed with this one lol. They do have a live DJ (mostly after 4pm), but even the music before that is pretty decent, expect some techno, House, top 100 and some retro.

Pros: Plenty of Airb&b' close by and two really. decent hotels just 2 blocks away. Mornings are a fantastic time to relax. Clean. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Cons: Lodging on site is on the expensive side. Some folks might feel the venue is small. Desert weather might be unpredictable. during certain times of the year. Lack of private play areas.

If you guys liked this, please let us know and we can write another post with the other venues in SoCal that we have visited. Thank you so much for reading and have a great rest of the week!!
