Bull here. Is it normal if you and a couple haven’t talked in a while, they will pay you a severance amount ranging from $20-60? I have only ever had this happen with two couples out of five (new to the scene since last year).

A friend I met off of ThreeFun said it’s a common way to say they enjoyed their time with you, but are either having marital trouble and want to cut you off, or are just wanting to get rid of you entirely. However this couple just randomly sent me money after we haven’t talked for a year, and called me their bull. Any advice? This specific couple always held me in the dark and even lied about being married (I didn’t know she was married until we met at our hotel room).
