We are a mid 30’s couple in good shape. We bother exercise daily and my wife is annoyingly beautiful. We have been to Temptation twice before and thought it was ok but the food was terrible and it tend to attract some of the worst people and large groups of single guys. We wanted to try something nicer and everyone raved about Desire RM and I honestly have no idea what experience everyone else had that I missed.

Pool - The pool was WAY too small. It was so small and crowded it constantly felt like dipping into a warm bath. Besides like 5 seats at an overly crowded bar, there is no where in the pool to go and sit or get shade. At least Temptation has a much bigger pool with places to sit, etc. Some people might say the small pool is nice because it gets people talking, but I constantly got stuck talking to people I didn’t want to be around. Not always, but frequently.

Crowd - I think the entire time we were there we maybe saw 5 couples under 40? We stayed four nights and not only did we not find any couples to swap with, we didn’t see a single couple the entire time we would have swapped with. I guess it just depends on when you go (and it’s all subjective) but I was hoping to at least find ONE couple we found attractive. Everyone was pretty nice though.

Food - It’s not bad, it’s not great. Way better than Temptation’s food but that isn’t saying much at all.

Club - I really appreciate having and indoor club but the DJ is mostly terrible and no one was ever in the play room, I assume because they could go to their own room or back to the hot tub.

Entertainment - A lot of bad cover bands if that’s your thing, it’s not ours.

Room - Perfectly acceptable but wouldn’t consider it nice. For the same price at a normal resort you could do so much better.

Staff - Mostly pretty friendly! Like anything else it all depends on the person and their mood but people were nice enough.

Hot Tub - I’ve heard so many stories about this amazing hot tub people go back to after the club and it was mostly pretty mild with little to no activity going on. Usually it was way too hot considering how hot it was outside.

Beach - Looks like a real shit hole with all the construction they have going on and the don’t clean the beach very often so it gets gross with seaweed.

Positives - It was nice we could reserve a Bali bed without paying extra. We like that it was couples only so it kept the single guys out. It was also nice to be somewhere we could be fully nude if we wanted so that was fun.

Overall I have no desire to go back. We talked about giving it another chance once they expand OR getting a group together and going…but if we are getting the group together, no reason why we are going to Desire and not just get an Airbnb or something.

If you had a different experience, I love that for you. We do not recommend going if you’re under 40.
