Why "Thank you for the like!" on Kas?

After liking couple's photos on Kasidie, we get a lot of messages saying, "Thank you for the like!"
Couples that do this, what does it mean? We're baffled. I can't think of any other social platform where this is the norm. (On FB or IG I have never been thanked for liking someone's post/pic/whatever.) If y'all want to flirt, send a compliment or a flirt, open up your BSP, or something a bit more overt. Otherwise, we'll assume you're not interested enough to do that, and keep 'er moving.
Or are we missing something? Are we supposed to message back, "You're welcome for the like! Thank you for the 'Thank you'" Etc..
