Hello I asked this question befor in a different sub but since it relates to swingers the viewpoints here would be more appropriate:

So I (25m) met a swinger couple both in their 50s on a sex website. At first I thought we wouldn't click but we got along pretty well. One rule they had was when I visit them I should bring a gift of an alcohol of their choosing (they had 3 options all around 40-50€) I was fine with that. We never drank those gifts together but they always offered other drinks/snacks.

I work in IT and after 1 month of meeting 3 times they asked me to help them with a problem they have. I asked for some specifications, looked at various models and gave them some suggestions depending what they ultimately want. They then mentioned I can come on a Sunday to help install it and afterwards we can have fun together. Alcohol was mentioned too but they didn't explicitaly say I should bring a gift and the conversation was focused on their problem so I didn't think much about it.

Come that Sunday and I get a message from them that installing it was quick it only took 5 minutes. I can come just meeting them and not to forget the gift. I explained I didn't buy one so they suggested to just get it from a gas station since our normal stores are closed on Sunday. I wasn't sure if those brands were even offered at gas stations so instead of going to 2 or 3 different ones and potentially not find it I said I would not come then. It basically broke apart afterwards.

I mentioned to them that I hope they were happy with what I picked out for them. I also said the meeting on that sunday for me was mainly helping for them and meeting them and having sex wasn't the most important for me. They took that as me being petty about the situation and specificaly the husband thought I wasn't into his wife and they said they hope I will come to my senses. 3 Days later they mentioned they wouldn't let me ruin their evening they invited someone else and I could have become a part of their inner circle if I hadn't been so unreasonable.
