We wanted to write about our recent experience at Collette lifestyle club in Dallas, Texas. S (48M) and I (43F) visited a few weeks ago and since it was my first time at a sex club, we thought it would be good for me to post the review from my perspective.

We visited on a Wed night which happens to be “Newbie Night” at Collette every week. After getting dressed and taking some pictures at our place (see our post history for the fab outfit Sean picked out for me), we got there around 10pm. The check in process was pretty easy, even though they couldn’t find our application. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and gave us a rundown of the different areas, and a free pass for that Saturday night (unfortunately we were leaving town on Friday).

As soon as you walk into Collette, there are rooms on the left and the main lounge and bar area on the right. We headed to the bar with our booze (BYOB of course), grabbed our drinks and sat in one of the many leather couches around the massive room. There were a few other couples around, but most of them were just talking to each other. I had heard the music wasn’t great here, but it was alright enough even that early in the evening (more on that later).

After having a drink, we went to explore the rooms. They were mostly empty, but it was still early. Colette has 2 types of rooms… red rooms where anyone can walk right in and up to the bed to simply watch. And blue rooms where it’s strictly participants only.

We got to a blue room with a massive round bed in the middle and windows all around. Sean took my hand and said we should go inside. He led me to the bed and my heart was pounding. There was no one around, but I’d never had sex in public like this before.

Anyway, so we start to get busy and another couple entered the room. I felt her up a little (with her permission of course) and found out it was their first time too. Sean and I aren’t into swapping fully at the moment, so we played on our own beside this other couple, all 4 of us stealing glances at the other. Until Sean whispered in my ear “We have an audience”. I turned my head towards the windows and, yes, indeed we did have an audience. A dozen or so people were just watching us fucking. It was such a erotic moment.

After Sean and I finished up, we walked to the lounge area and passed a foursome having a really good time in one of the blue rooms while several people watched. Back in the lounge area, it had gotten considerably busier. More couples and the music had definitely kicked up a notch. A couple got on the dance floor and Sean and I joined. By the end of the song, the dance floor was pretty full. The music was pretty good I thought, standard club fare.

While the crowd seemed nice looking enough, there wasn’t as much socialization as I thought there would be, especially considering it was newbie night. Couples were pretty much just into themselves. Sean and I went back to the same room to play some more, once again finding it empty. Once we started playing, though, several more couples came in and out of the room. Our audience outside the room had grown too and many were crowded at the door, eager to hear what was happening inside.

The one big downside was that the club advertised they were open until 2am, but security came to kick us out just after 1am. We would’ve spent longer there, but they basically made us leave. The drinks situation was also a bit awkward. We brought our own hard liquor and were told mixers were free, but they charged us $5 for a bottle of soda, which we had to carry around with us. It wasn’t until later in the night when we realized people were just leaving their drinks on the coffee tables by the couches and it was the honor system.

All in all, Colette was nice. Would we go again? I think yes, especially on a weekend if we can swing that (pun intended). I thought it was the perfect first experience.
