So i was formerly in a LS relationship with my gf of 3 years. Lots of lessons learned unfortunately the hard way and we split. Since then i have been getting back into the LS as a single male at my local club. I volunteer at the bar and sometimes do moderating when they really need the help back there.

So about 6 months ago i met a wonderful woman and we dated for about 3 weeks before I thought to myself “ i think i should tell her im lifestyle”. I felt this way because i wanted her to know the information before anything got serious, or i just felt that she should know. She did not really like hearing this but we continued to date casually. I wound up in the FWB zone and i feel like we never got closer because of my past in the LS. So im wondering from the community how people feel about mentioning their LS past to new patterns.

I totally see how some people feel like their past can remain private or secret if they choose, I respect that. But i can imagine that years down the line, if it were to be revealed that i was in the LS it would really hurt someone who felt like they should have known sooner.
