The Best Resort in Palm Springs is . . . .

My partner and I visited PS several weeks ago and enjoyed a day pass experience at Sea Mountain. We liked the people, vibe, and the prohibition of single males. Sadly, SM is in dire need of a refresh - quirky charm only gets you so far. We’d probably do a repeat day pass visit on a return trip, albeit with dramatically reduced expectations.

In combing through the archives, the assessments of similar resorts (Exotic Dreams Resort and Tuscany Manor), it’s been awhile (~ 1 year) since anyone’s posted detailed reviews or comparisons to SM.

So where are you going in PS and why?

So EDR is membership required now. Which most places are as well so not a big deal. It’s not as expensive as SM from what we have noticed. Take that for what it is. So the “rule” is no playing inside the pool or hot tub.. for obvious sanitary reasons. Not to say we haven’t made out, touched, fondled, licked or maybe even let the tip slip in without completion. Hehe. Out side of the pool, next to the pool is fair game. We have never seen a staff member run up to someone getting a blowjob or maybe riding their partner and be told no sorry you must go to the designated play area. Now the maze and other play rooms obviously you can play as much as you like. There is another smaller pool in a more secluded area of the resort and same we have seen couples have sex and no one bats an eye. We just waved smiled and moved on. So I will say, and this can be said for SM as well. It all depends on the day. We have gone on event nights where it was completely packed and people just parting everywhere!! We went Halloween one year and it was like a four day party. We only went Saturday and Sunday and it was definitely a lot of people watching and playing lol. We have gone on Sundays that are more tame and just relaxed naked by the pool. Made great conversation with some and a little play. Just depends on who you meet. There is no specific dance room that I can remember like SM ,but in general there is music playing and people partying everywhere on a good night. They have music playing over speakers but sometimes someone will Dj with their own speaker and really wake up the crowd. On those event big HR s I believe they do allow a certain amount of single males, which we like so that doesn’t bother us. Other days and nights it has to be an invite and if you are invited most likely your hanging with that couple. Never seen a single make be rude or disrespectful to any couples. Hmmm I think that’s it. Any other specific questions I may have missed feel free to ask â˜ș

Hubby and I use to visit sea mountain on a regular, but lately we have been exclusively attending EDR. They do more parties and the layout to us is fun. More play areas and the maze is a lot of fun. We enjoyed the intimacy of sea mountain and as you stated the quirkiness is fun. As far as single males , we have never had an issue. Never seen a heard of single guys just loitering around gawking . So I don’t feel that’s a concern for anyone. We’re planning on going and actually inviting a single male ourselves. Hope this helps .

Been been in a weekday but who knows. A lot of people in town just because it’s summer break and the weather has been beautiful. So it might be fun. Either way what’s not to love About being naked by a pool in great weather with your favorite person? Lol. Have fun!
