Context: Mi wife (F27) and I (M32) have been talk g about non monogamy for a while now and it seems like we're making progress.
I'm Latino and my wife is white, we grew up in very different backgrounds and cultures and over the years we have explored on how we see the world individually based on this differences. With that being said, sex has always been a touchy subject for my wife; I grew up in an environment where sex wasn't something out of the ordinary, it happened, people did it and to each their own. For my wife was a lot different, she grew up LDS and let's says that sex education wasn't a thing for her.
Now that we've been married for a few years and we a have a kid, we left the church for the better and started to live our lives a lot more inpeace; I brought up the idea of non monogamy and at first she was alarmed and confused, but as we have talked over time she's becoming more interested and slowly she's been understanding that sex can be a fun thing, that can be enjoyed and that we can separate the sex from our relationship, that having certain feelings or desires are not wrong that it's just human to feel horny sometimes 😜 that finding strangers and even some friends sexually attractive is not wrong.
So far our journey, slow but steady has been a beautiful and eye opening experience, hopefully some day we can take that leap and eventually meet some of y'all 😁
Have any of you had similar experiences, have any of you grown up LDS? If so, how was that first experience? If you wanna chat shoot me a message 👍🏾
