My husband(M28) and I recently got into the lifestyle after 6 years of monogamy and our initial perception was that the sex would be more of a casual surface level connection than an intimate one. We had our first experience last week with a couple in their 40s that we met just for drinks and things escalated quickly. I just found myself a little taken back by the level of passion one can experience.

While having sex with the male part of the couple he would just stop a few times to stare at me and telling me how beautiful/ gorgeous I was to then kiss me intensively, then stop and just stare into my eyes… He also bit me and kiss me a lot to the point I had a lot marks on my body the next day. He even stopped me while I was coming back from the kitchen to “contemplate me” and said “ I just wanna look at you for a second”. After sex, when we were in bed the four of us, he cuddled me and gently touched all my body. Then would grab my face and kissed me passionately in front of his wife and my husband who were just talking. When we said goodbye he did the same thing, I went for a hug and then he kissed me and my husband and his wife were just standing there.

Idk if he got a little carried away or maybe he’s just passionate in general, although he seemed pretty serious and put together in general at first and wasn’t drunk. I didn’t dislike it, I was just not expecting this level of intensity. Is this common when swapping ? My husband liked the experience but didn’t experience that passion from what he told me.
