Looking for the best club in NYC that is closest to midtown. We heard Checkmate was good. Any other suggestions to meet professional, beautiful couples while keeping the single men at bay?

I have checked the about section and there isn't anything about clubs as far as I can tell. And yes, I did search as well. Things change, new clubs open and clubs close all the time. I really am looking for people's experiences not just a list of clubs available.
