Hey fellow swingers! My partner and I are new to this lifestyle and we're trying to figure out how to meet other like-minded couples.
I've seen a lot of posts on this subreddit about avoiding hooking up with vanilla friends, so we're wondering if it's better to start friendships with people who are already in the lifestyle.
But where do we go to make these kinds of friendships without feeling like we're just hunting for a hookup? Every app, party, event, and club we've come across seems to be all about the hookup culture.
We really just want to make genuine friends and maybe, waaaaay down the line, explore some play together. We don't want to jump into bed with strangers.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!
I think make sure that the people you're talking to want to be friends. We don't. It's great that it's your thing, it's not mine. We can respect each other knowing that and make decisions on how to interact going forward.
