Hi new folks! The wife and I are Central FL based. She used to host at secrets years ago (that means giving tours & making introductions) & actually proposed the idea of newbie night! Thus, she sealed her place in Central FL swinger history, lol.

We go all the time. We always recommend visiting secrets for the first time on a slow night (newbie night is very slow). It’s inexpensive to visit, so it’s low risk.

Get a feel for it. Take the tour. Learn the dos & donts. Most importantly: take in zero expectations. Even better: agree beforehand that nothing will happen on the first visit unless it’s between the two of you. That removes all pressure and you can just take in the information.

Please note that the host couples running newbie might may or may not be your cup of tea. Please don’t let this throw you off. They are doing a job and that’s it. Also, when touring the dungeon you’ll find the staff very passionate about their craft. It’s super interesting to some, off putting to others. Just listen and look. Remember you’re there to learn.

Once you have a solid handle on the whole resort, grab a drink and maybe dance in the club for a while. Walk around, look at the various themes rooms through their windows. Later, pick one and spend a night or two. You’ll arrive as experienced vets ready for fun.
