TLDR: How did you feel after the first time swinging....did you regret it?

Hi, first time caller, long time listener. My (F38) husband (M39) have been discussing getting into the lifestyle for the past few months and are planning on meeting a couple we have been talking to at a local meet and greet event. Throughout this journey of talking about it, fantasizing about it and more talking about, we have grown so much as a couple. We've always had a great relationship, but this has brought our communication level, up 10 fold. Through this journey I also have had the freedom to express my bisexuality and I am very excited to be able to learn more about who I am and what I like. The female in the couple is also bi and we have been chatting for a week or so and flirting like crazy (with both of our husbands on board).

Just the idea of going down on her makes me very excited and I hope it all works out and we get to play together. My biggest hang up is having sex with her husband. 1. because my whole life sex is "sacred between man and wife" and I'd be a whore/slut ect. (my religious upbringing programmed me that way anyway) 2. my husband was initially very against it (we started looking into swinging for FFM but have learned its rare and we are not about to be unicorn hunters). He is now accepting of me having sex with another man and we have had many hours of talking about every scenario, and our boundaries.

I guess I am writing to find out other women's experiences on how you felt the day after your first swing. Did you feel "dirty" or that your husband wouldn't love you or look at you the same anymore now that you had another man inside you? I grew up Christian and sex was always portrayed as sinful and/or bad. In the rare one night stands I've had in my twenties, I've always felt shame and guilt for like a week after. I just don't want to feel that way even though I know I'm sharing this experience with my husband and he is fully on board and supportive.

And for the Husbands- was this an issue at first but you got over it (and truly got over it and/or get turned on by it now)?
