I went to a house party last night and was having a great time with a couple. I am a single woman so I call myself a unicorn. There were not any other unicorns that I saw but there were several bulls. I was in the middle of play with this couple and one of the bulls asks if he can have a turn next. I ignored the question. The same man continued to lurk as I played with other couples. At one point I was having a conversation with a (Deaf so we were using ASL) partner and apparently he was also talking but I wasn’t listening to him. I had my eyes firmly fixed on the person I was speaking to and was nodding excitedly. The bull said YES! And started reaching for me which brought my attention to him instantly. He had apparently been talking about DP and took me nodding at someone else as consent??? I told him no and indicated the person I had been nodding to. But then later during the night I had to tell him no again when I had slid over to the side of the bed and he came up and pressed himself against me. Is this normal behavior and I just need to be more assertive? Or should I let the couple who held the party know?
