Relationships / friendships / fuckships can come in any degree of emotional or sexual intimacy, I don’t know that it much matters what you call it. Many people “in the lifestyle community” are friends who also happen to fuck each other.

I think finding that ongoing connection with a couple is just going to require fucking a variety of other couples until you find people you click with then hanging out with them often.

My ex and I met a couple we liked at a sex club then introduced them to another couple we met at a house party. For about 6 months, we would all get together about once a month to play board games, eat cheese and crackers, and have a 6-person livingroom floor orgy. Fun times. Ended only because my ex and I broke up for unrelated reasons, otherwise the little orgy friend group was great.

I think if you’re just looking for friendship and occasionally playing together tons of regular swinging couples are into that and do that. We do.

The line where it changes is if you mean potentially being with just one of them or playing alone. Still cool but probably closer to the poly side and harder to find in pure swingers circles and likely something you’d have to find in poly places
