Rooftop Resort; Hollywood, FL; Worth Checking In?

I am going on my second Temptation cruise out of Miami this February and was going to stay 2 nights before setting out on my cruise. I was originally planning to just stay at a hostel since I'm a single male and it seemed like a cheap cozy option, but I saw this place and it sounded interesting. The reviews I've seen seem kind of middling though, and the cost is also a bit pricey - the site mentions needing a membership for single males to book a room. Is there a membership fee?
Just wanted to ask people who've been if they thought it was worth it or not, and if it has been improved or gone down if you gave it a second chance.
