Why do people bail when you give them your phone number? Anyone else have this happening?

Post Body

My wife and I have been in the lifestyle for about a year now. We've had lots of fun times (both in and out of the bedroom) with single ladies and single fellas. We've recently started our online search for couples to be friends with. We're not pushy and we feel as if we are generally good conversationalists. When it comes time to use something besides the archaic chat and message platforms within our apps, we opt for phone. It's easy, doesn't require an additional app, and it is direct access to us. (As friends would normally have.)

Recently, I've noticed a trend where a high percentage will ghost us upon us giving them our numbers. Any theories on how or why this phenomenon would happen?

Additionally, thanks for being such a wonderful community. Especially when we were really trying to figure ENM out.
