I know its a good thing that looks are not important for my partner. She says its about connection more than anything. So she doesnt know if shes into someone until she talks to them. Now don't get me wrong Im not shallow and I too dont care that much. But Im still surprised. She is good looking and physically fit. The last guys she went for, for example one looked like an old Ned Flanders that has let himself go and the other a beer belly, bald Indian guy (just for description not being racist and dont care he was Indian) that looked like he worked at a 7/11. I tried to see what this personality they have and I dont see that either. They were not funny, intelligent, charismatic etc. They were however kind and I guess made her feel comfortable.

We still hooked up and everything good and support for her to choose anyone she wants. But its still a bit weird. Anyone have similar experiences? See your partner with someone else and you think - really?
