In a highly sexually charge environment, people tend to want a little liquid courage. I always recommend to new couples (and to any couple) to use pre-packaged beverages like beer, wine miniatures, seltzers and only take enough to get a mild buzz. Leave the rest at home. This will help curb the the tendency to drink too much. In Vegas, we also have the 420 issue. Technically it is illegal for clubs to let you partake and most of the legit clubs don't allow it because it will get you shutdown fast. But with the 420 vape pens and people slipping off to their cars, and people sneaking it in, there can be a lot of it at a party.
