What kind of people go to sex clubs?

I (F68) and hubby (M73) are curious about going to a sex club just to see what it's like and maybe play with each other. I do have insecurity issues and worry I'd feel out of place due to my age and especially if all the women have stripper/ porn star bodies. I imagine several do go to get exposure and drum up some business for themselves. Am I wrong? Most videos I've seen show mostly young and attractive people. Do any "normal" average looking couples go to these places?
