Our first foray into the lifestyle was as unexpected as it was hilarious. We met this experienced couple, let’s call them Jack and Jill, who invited us over for what we thought would be a casual evening. To ease the mood, they suggested we all wear pajamas—why not, right?

Everything was going smoothly until Jack, in an attempt to spice things up, brought out a board game. Yes, a board game at a swingers’ party! It was all fun and games until someone landed on a square that read “Swap clothes with the person to your right.” Picture this: my husband, a big, burly guy, trying to fit into Jill’s tiny, frilly nightgown, and me, in Jack’s oversized pajama top that went down to my knees.

What was meant to be a steamy night turned into fits of laughter and a fashion disaster. We didn’t quite get the swap we expected, but it sure was a memorable introduction to the lifestyle!
